Five o'clock somewhere

A drive up through the mountains, $30.00
Vendor tickets paid for on the streets for all day beer tasting: $80.00
Bell Pepper Sandwich for me: $4.00
Wild Boar Chili Fries for him: $4.50
Great time, with great people, and free entertainment along with some crazy bullshizzle: Priceless

Going to Boonville beer festival was a suggestion by my dad.  I have driven through there before, on my way to Fort Bragg, but I've never stopped.  Honestly didn't think there would be as many people as there were, but with a necklace around my neck with a mini pilsner mug in place, we were set to go.  It's an awesome festival, on a great piece of land, big enough to have 70+ breweries there.  Plenty of entertainment, people dressed in costumes, birthdays being celebrated, and old men falling asleep standing up.  Camping was a treat, campfires, chit chatting, tents ;)--  Sleeping, however was not part of the agenda apparently, but I still enjoyed myself.

And, of course with good company, anything, (even with the most annoying situations)....is a good time.

End of the day...

Joshua Tree

It's still a week away, but I am thrilled, even beyond thrilled to visit with my friend Kathryn, while venturing down to Joshua Tree for a climbing camp!  I've never climbed before but it's something I've always wanted to try.  And I've never been to Joshua Tree.  I'm thinking good thoughts about this trip, something to remember forever, and also a new life adventure.

And...on that note.....

After some inspiration I am compiling a list of 100 things I would like to try/do/see/read/be in a period of 2 years.  2 YEARS you say?!  Well, considering I am working full time, going back to school, have bills to pay and also trying to have a life, 2 years is nothing... it's 670 days. It's also right before my 30th birthday, which is also a little incentive. We.Will.See.  My list should be out in the next week.

Stress

If there is one thing that stress did to me last week, it made my pants looser and stomach flatter.  That's one thing a boy can't do for ya.  I weighed myself at the hospital that I work at tonight, and I weighed in 6.2 pounds lighter than last Sunday afternoon.

Horray for running and late night walks, and my small eating, and my water intake, and less alcohol consumption. Oh, and more sleep, cause when I'm stressed, I sleep like a friggin' baby.

Thanks stress, because-- while you made me crazy, and raised my blood pressure last week, you boosted my self esteem right up.

Ways to Live Like Kerry......

Not because I'm narcissistic, because I'm not....this is my second form of therapy, in writing, and besides, my therapist, says its good to write, to see where you are in life....GASP....**Whisper*** she said THERAPIST!!!  Yes....yes...that is right. And you'll hear more about that....later.  Anyway,  I decided to write a quick list of ways you could live in a day in the life of me, Kerry Peck.  :)

*Always, always as often as you can, sing your words...for example....walk into a room, and say sing....HELLLOOOOOO!!!!!!!  I have done it always, especially after being a cheerleader for 2 years and cheering my words...all the time....HELLOOOOOOOOO......will always make everyone smile!!
*Love passionately.

*Remember where you came from, and don't try to be who you aren't, it doesn't look good on you..

*Have celebrity crushes, and don't be ashamed to admit it.

*Ask questions

*Have an unhealthy obsession with your iPhone. If you don't have said iPhone...well then, you.are.missing.out!!! **sorry**

*Talk to your cat, or dog.  But it's healthy, I read it in a book....somewhere. ;-)
*Be amazing at cooking without recipes. Thanks mom and dad. xo
*Share

*Do not, NOT get into a line of "10 items or less", even if you have only 11 items....I was all the way to the front the other day at Nob Hill....counted my items....12 items, and one of them was a pack of gum, I got out of said line...EMBARRASSING!!! HA.
*Take long runs, anywhere, everywhere, all the time...alone.

*Start a book...don't finish it.

*Do, DO have a set laundry day...mine=MONDAYS.

*Love, LOVE to write.

*Make yourself laugh...ALL THE TIME!!!

*Don't be afraid to cry

*Hate DIET soda!! GROSS.
*Be open, and honest about you, be proud of who you are, and what you've endured.

wrong side of the bed.

Have you ever had one of those days, where everything just makes you feel like screaming?  Or crying? Or saying something under your breath.  Or wanting to punch someone....in the neck??

Well, I had that day today. I don't know if it's my lack of sleep, or the diet I'm on, or the stress that I'm not expierencing that before I was, and it stimulated me...as strange as that seems, or the fact that I miss my family.  But today, nothing was right, or okay.  The way people were eating, the way people were typing on their keyboard, or the music on my iPod.  Everything bothered me! And I'm never like this.  It's nothing that a beer or two can't fix, and "The Soup", can't make better, and make me laugh, even though I hadn't laughed all day!  Thank goodness there is only 24 hours in a day, because this day couldn't have been over soon enough. On to better days....happier moments.  :)
